Delegates with a Magazines 2006 one or two-day rover ticket can now take advantage of the opportunity to upgrade and attend the keynote lunches in the Great Room taking place as part of London 06. On Tuesday Simon Garth, vice-president of marketing at Symbian will speak on exploring the opportunities of mobile technology and on Wednesday, Hans-Peter Eisinger, global media director at Siemens AG, will look at what a global advertiser needs from business media houses.

Following its acquisition of Printing World and Packaging Magazine last week, Haymarket Publishing has revealed the new editorial structure for its Print & Packaging Group.
BPA expands Dubai operations

Following formal approval by the executive committee of the BPA Worldwide Board of Directors, BPA has announced that it is expanding its operations in Dubai.
BPA, in partnership since August 2004 with Dubai Consultancy Research and Media Centre
(DCRMC), has been on site serving the media and advertising communities in Dubai and the greater Middle East region since 2000. BPA currently has 29 members and applicants in the region.
Symbian vice-president to discuss making money from mobile technology

Simon Garth, vice-president of marketing at Symbian, is the latest speaker to confirm attendance at the Fifth international FIPP business magazine and professional media conference taking place as part of Magazines 2006 from 1-3 May. Garth will speak at a keynote lunchtime address on day one of the conference on the subject: mobile technology: exploring the opportunities.
Haymarket acquires printing and packaging titles

Haymarket has strengthened its position in the print and packaging market with the acquisition of Printing World and Packaging Magazine from CMP, part of United Business Media.
