US B2B ad spend up in 2004

Ad spend in B2B publications was up 3.8 per cent in 2004, according to the Business Information Network report by American Business Media. The report also showed that B2B ad pages were up 1.4 per cent year-on-year.
Incisive Media announces huge increase in profits

Incisive Media has announced full year results for the year ended 31 December 2004. Turnover was up 31 per cent to £46.5m, and profit before interest and tax increased 49 per cent to £7.7m.
Reed Elsevier announces new chairman

Reed Elsevier has announced the forthcoming retirement of Morris Tabaksblat as chairman of the group. Tabaksblat will be succeeded by Jan Hommen, who is currently vice chairman of the management board and chief financial officer and executive vice president of Royal Philips Electronics. He will be standing down from these positions on 1 May, 2005, when he reaches the statutory retirement age of 62.
