Magazine launches exceed closures by 19 per cent

Launches in 2004 of regular frequency magazines exceeded deaths by 74 titles, or 19 per cent. Four hundred and sixty three regular frequency titles were launched last year according to the February issue of Circulation Briefing from Wessenden Marketing, while 389 titles closed.
