Following discussions with PPA, Austin Mitchell MP has tabled a series of questions to the Secretary of State for the Department of Health, asking for further information on a number of issues relating to the NHS electronic recruitment project.
CMP Information's Mark Berveridge named PTC New Journalist of the Year

Mark Beveridge, from CMP Information's Housing Today was named the overall winner at PTC's New Journalist of the Year awards, and New Journalist of the Year in Weekly Business Magazines, at a lunchtime awards ceremony on 14 November. Some 200 students, new journalists and industry professionals attended the event, now in its twentieth year.
Focus on value not price, says CMPi chief executive Bernard Gray

PPA B2B media committee chairman and chief executive of CMP Information, Bernard Gray, has called on publishers, agencies and clients to stop focusing on the price of advertising at the expense of the value that is being delivered. Speaking at a panel session at the B2B sales conference on 19 November, Gray said: "If you're constantly thinking about price you're driving everyone down to the lowest common denominator."
