The Q3 2003 Bellwether report shows an improved sentiment among the UK’s advertisers compared to the previous quarter. The report, published by NTC research on behalf of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), shows that although marketing budgets were revised down for the fifth consecutive quarter the downgrade was significantly less than in quarter Q2.

New B2B marketing strategy approved

At a meeting of the B2B media committee this week, (13 October) a new generic B2B marketing strategy was agreed. The 2004 strategy was devised by PPA with consultant Tim Lucas, who has worked on PPA's consumer marketing initiative.
